I see Live Hot Puppet Chat & GRRF were originally done at the University of California, San Diego.  That’s an odd college choice.  Do you regret it?  Are any of you guys still there?
All colleges are ups and downs of inspiration and disappointment.  There’s no way of knowing which one will provide what kind of life experience.  Tristan isn’t actually from San Diego (and Yoshi, aka Amayo, is from Japan), but UCSD is big on kooky cutting-edge computing paradigms for media creation; GRRF might not have been created in any other environment, honestly.  So no regrets.  And Tristan is still there, often seen getting coffee at Perks (in the back of the bookstore), or standing around the outer wall of Geisel library’s upper deck, looking pensive.
